Steel Code builds production-grade healthcare platforms for organizations where failure is not an option. Robust architecture, infinitely scalable, deployed by engineers who stay accountable long after go-live.
Hussain on what Steel Code is, who it's for, and how we work.
Every system we build is designed to hold — under patient load, regulatory scrutiny, and the edge cases that break lesser software.
We architect for growth from day one. What serves 1,000 patients today will serve 1,000,000 tomorrow without rework or instability.
Direct WhatsApp access to the founder. 18-hour availability. No account managers. No ticket queues. You reach the person who built it.
We use only technologies proven in high-stakes environments. No experiments, no beta tools, no technical debt inherited by your team.
Our work runs in production, across geographies, for institutions with zero tolerance for downtime. These are not prototypes.
A speech-based maternal health platform connecting expectant fathers to verified doctors over a basic phone call — no smartphone or internet required. Built with researchers from the University of Michigan and Carnegie Mellon University. 21,000+ unique callers in 71 days across rural Punjab, Pakistan. Now the basis of an NIH-funded province-wide randomized control trial.
A clinical decision support tool for migraine diagnosis and management in under-resourced healthcare settings. Built in collaboration with Dr. Basmaa Ali, M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Designed for environments with limited specialist access and constrained infrastructure.
An end-to-end doctor appointment and medicine delivery system removing logistical barriers between patients and care in urban Pakistan. Developed in academic partnership with Purdue University, addressing last-mile healthcare access at scale.
Hussain holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science from LUMS, Pakistan — one of South Asia's most rigorous technical institutions. His career has been defined by a consistent thread: building software that performs where the stakes are highest and the infrastructure is least forgiving.
Before founding Steel Code, he worked as a Manager in the Digital Banking Group at Allied Bank Limited, and as a developer on UNICEF and NIH-funded platforms. He has also built at a VC-funded AI and blockchain startup. Every role has involved systems where unreliability carries real human consequences.
Steel Code exists because healthcare software demands a different standard. We architect carefully, deploy with precision, and stay accountable through the entire lifecycle of every platform we build.
UNICEF Venture Fund & U.S. National Institutes of Health — Backed development of Super Abbu, reaching 21,000+ callers in 71 days.
Allied Bank Limited — Manager, Digital Banking Group. Core financial infrastructure for one of Pakistan's largest banks.
EdTech & AI startup experience — Full stack development on platforms serving thousands of active users in production.
We build with technologies that have earned their place in high-stakes, high-traffic production environments. Every tool chosen for durability.
Global CDN, DDoS protection, and serverless Workers. Resilience baked in at the network layer.
Open-source Postgres with real-time capabilities and row-level security. Full data ownership.
Server-side rendering with component-driven interfaces. Scalable and battle-tested at every level.
Single codebase, two platforms. Production-grade apps that behave natively on iOS and Android.
High-throughput API layers built to handle healthcare-scale concurrent load without degradation.
Containerized deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Consistent from dev to production.
Production AI integrations — clinical assistants, document intelligence, workflow automation.
Utility-first CSS that ships consistent, precise UI without design drift across teams.
We work with healthcare organizations, research institutions, and clinical teams who need software that holds up. If the problem is real, we want to hear about it.
